May God Bless Monkey!

Today was a beautiful day. It was Monkey's baptism. We met our family at our church (I call it ours, but in all honesty, it's not ours...yet...maybe one day. But it was my Nana and PopPops. Babe and I got married there. And now, all 3 of our children have been baptized there. In my eyes,  it's ours.)! My Grandmother was there, my parents, my sister and neice, my Aunt and cousin, Babe's Grandparents, Babe's parents, Babe's Aunt and Uncle, And most importantly, Monkey's Godparents: Chris (Babe's brother) and Michelle (Babe's cousin). Everyone was so excited to be there for Monkey's special day.

4 Generations!

Great moment between Monkey and Rev. Shill!

God Bless Owen!

During his baptism, Monkey was very alert, wondering what was going on. He kept looking around, waving to family, and just be the nosy boy he is ;) When Dr. Schill took him, he wasn't too happy about it. He whined for a few seconds until Dr. Schill started speaking. Then, as you can see in the pictures above, he starred at him in awe. He remained calm as he was baptized. He was perfect. Dr. Schill carried him down and walked him around the church to introduce him to all of the other members - this is when Monkey cracked everyone up! He kept trying to climb out of Dr. Schill's arms, and as Dr. Schill was walking, Monkey was looking back at us waving with the most pitiful face ever. It was so cute. It had everyone in good spirits :)

The group pictures below aren't the best, but they are GREAT in my eyes. I love them! I love how not in 1 picture is anyone looking at the same camera, or smiling...love how in most pictures you can see Buddy being his silly self...love how even though we all know Monkey adores each of us he's so tired and DONE with anything at this point it shows...and i LOVE how special these photos will forever be :)
(Can you guess which photo is my *favorite*??)

After the baptism we headed back to our house for a little party. A friend of mine from my Mom's group made these awesome cupcakes & cakepops!

We all enjoyed the afternoon celebrating Monkey and watching the Raven's game! :) Such a great day!!!

4 Generations of H boys!!!
This is one moment I will forever cherish...this moment between my Grandmother and Monkey. On her way out she stopped and played with Monkey. They were clapping together, rolling their hands together and laughing together. These last 2 pictures, to me, are priceless.

Yes, that's a favorite. The one i was referring to though is the one of Owen pulling Tyler's hair and everyone laughing at it. It's pure awesomeness. But trust me, the b&w of Owen and I is most def a favorite :)
