More maternity pics :)

Even though Nicole did an AMAZING job at my maternity pics, b/c of time we weren't able to capture all the pics I had in mind...or pics with the older bro/sis! So, our nannies mother in law was nice enough to take the time to do this for us. We were very please with how they turned out :)

Our Lil' Man is 6!

I'm not sure when or how it happened so fast, but yesterday Buddy turned 6! We've been counting down the days for at least a month now, and his 6th birthday has come and gone! He said it was "THE BEST DAY EVER!" and that makes me feel so good :)

I was able to work from home, so before he woke up I went out and got him his favorite donut for breakfast ;) I set up the balloons we got for him, too ;) He came walking downstairs at 6:30am! LOL! Apparently he was just too excited to sleep ;) I don't blame him! 6 is such an awesome age :) So we waited until 7 for Babe and Princess to get up and then ate our donuts!

Then it was time for him to go to school! Buddy was so excited that he would be getting a birthday hat! Little did he know one of his friends would also give him a birthday gift...the gift of throwing up on him!!!!!!!!!! That's right...we got a call from the nurse around lunch time that Buddy had gotten thrown up on! My poor buddy...thrown up on, on his birthday! The nurse said he was very matter of fact about it, didn't touch it, and they washed his hands A LOT and used sanitizer. They also changed his clothes, etc. I am so glad this didn't ruin his birthday! When I picked him up from school (first time ever - he was so happy about it!) he told me all about it! He also mentioned that his class LOVED the blueberry muffins we took in for his birthday snack :)

Babe was also working from home, so we called him when we got close to the house. Buddy's birthday present was waiting in the driveway for him...a new bike and a new helmet!!! He wasn't as excited as we'd hope, but he definetely seemed to enjoy his new bike a lot ;) Check out the pick of him on it...does he have that 6 year old attitude or what?! LOL!

He also got 2 books from Princess and a nice, new Raven's jersey for his birthday ;) Pretty sweet gifts if you ask me ;)

We played outside for a little while until Nana came over, then headed out to dinner at Buddy's restaurant of choice. Can anyone guess where that was?! It's pretty easy if you know Buddy...McDonald's!!!! LOL!!! Where else but there?? We ate, the kids played, then we went and got milkshakes from Rutters...yummm :)
We let Buddy stay up a little bit last night and watch an extra show, just because it was his birthday!
He says he had THE BEST DAY EVER, and I hope he did! He deserves it :)
Happy Birthday, Buddy! We all LOVE you very much!

Almost 30 weeks

Technically, I am 29weeks and 4 days today...this is a pic i took this morning before heading into work :) Baby and I are def growing :)

PA :)

Well, it's been 2 weeks since we settled on our new home in Pennsylvania :) And what a 2 weeks it has been! We are slowly but surely getting settled into the new house, and everyone is loving it! Buddy's already made neighborhood friends, and is excited for school every day! His first night in the house he told us he didn't need his bed rail anymore - so he's been sleeping without it and doing great! No falls! Princess is loving all the outside time. From chalk to her slide to her little bike - she's eating it all up! She's also been sleeping in her toddler bed quite well! Woohoo!
I have some pics to show of life in the new house, but not all came through my email when I sent...so if you have me on FB, you can see the rest there :)

Buddy loving that he can help unpack the big moving truck ;)

From one of our new neighbors! So sweet :)

First night in the new house. Our bed was the only bed ready, so we all slept there!
Ty in the messy toy room!
Princess brushing her teeth!
 Buddy reading to Princess :)
Princess napping in her new toddler bed! She LOVED it!
Buddy sleeping in his bed without bedrails! GO BUDDY!!!
The 2 enjoy every minute of outside time :)

I definetely think this was a great move for us! The house is beautiful! THe neighborhood is awesome! And our new neighbors are even more awesome! The community is tiny, but has a lot going on. There's a great ice cream shop within walking distance. There's a Rutters within walking distance as well! All my days of walking to 7-11 from my childhood house can now happen for my children, as they will be able to walk to Rutters :) The scenary is beautiful driving anywhere near the house. Everything about it is wonderful! I cannot wait to watch our babies grow up in this house and community! :)

Happy 28th!

Happy 28th Birthday to a wonderful husband and father....Babe!!!!!!!!! :)

We celebrated by settling on our dream home the day before his birthday (8/31/10) and then crabs for dinner! The rest of his birthday week he spent lifting heavy boxes and furniture to ensure we were in our new home by the weekend! Way to go, Babe - you are truly awesome :)

On his actual birthday, we did get to take a few minutes to celebrate with a yummy ice cream cake :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! HOPE IT WAS A GREAT ONE :)

KinderTy - 1st Day of School - HE SURVIVED ;)

Buddy survived the 1st day of Kindergarten :)
The 1st day of school for our lil' man has come and gone...and I cannot say without tears. I didn't think I was going to cry. Seriously. I've been preparing myself for his 1st day, and was ready to send him off to be with the big kids! But...as soon as the bus drove up, Buddy clinged onto me for dear life, and tears started rolling down his face. I held it together. We walked across the street to get him on the bus, him crying the whole time. He was last in line to delay the inevitable. Finally, it was his turn. He climbed up, and took his seat - front row, on the end! He started crying even more. I kissed him, told him he would do GREAT, and turned and walked away. That's when my tears started. I didn't want him to see. So as the bus drove away, with my baby still crying, I smiled as big as I could through my tears. Ugh...one of the hardest moments yet!!!!

These are a few pics I snapped on my phone...they'll be more once I get the ones from the camera up!

We settled on our new home at 11am this same day. Here's Buddy standing on our front porch...a couple hours before it's officially ours ;)
This is the smiling  Buddy I know and love...such a difference from how he was in the morning! As soon as he saw us standing at the bus stop waiting for him to come home, he started waving on the bus! With his awesome seat, he was the 1st one off...and he flew off, LOL! He had A LOT to say, and his 1st day ended up being a really good one ;)
